Our Story

It has been 50 years since the owner's father opened Cafe Boga in Kichijoji.


The current owner, Masayoshi Ogura, who returned to Japan after wandering in Italy and training as an apprentice in a restaurant, reopened the Bar Boga in 2010 as an authentic Italian bar, hoping to bring to the Kichijoji area the delicious food and drinks he experienced in Italy, as well as the atmosphere of an at-home, open bar.

From the time of the owner's wandering training in Italy to the present day, the chef and his staff have worked diligently day and night, gaining experience and refining their skills.
The dishes prepared with care using the freshest ingredients and the finest produce will add color to your dining experience and will remain in your memory for a long time.
